Assist the field Supervisor in conducting condenser air inleakage, tube leakage, electrical generator inspections, and other pressure and vacuum inspections utilizing helium as a tracer gas or any other testing methods to be utilized.
Assist supervisor in conducting tube cleaning. Setup equipment, break down equipment, load cleaners, shoot cleaners, retrieve cleaners, take pictures, take tube samples, perform inspections under the direction of the field supervisor, perform safety and hole watch duties.
Assist supervisor in guiding the eddy current probes into and out of the tubes, set up equipment, break down equipment, perform safety and hole watch duties. Assist supervisor in removal, preparation, and installation of rubber expansion joints. Set up and break down equipment, perform safety and hole watch duties.
Become educated on the operation of a power plant and the procedures of turbines, condensers, and generators. This is accomplished by American Efficiency Services in-house training, Qual Packages, and observing the Field Supervisors techniques.
Establish good customer relations by presenting yourself in a professional manner and ensure our work area is constantly clean.
Assist the Field Supervisor in the setup and breakdown of the equipment aspects.
Assist in all inspections when designated by the Project Manager, while learning from the project manager.
Allow the Field Supervisor to do all the interfacing with the customer, while listening and building your skills.
Be prepared to work at the time designated by the Plant Personnel and Field Supervisor for each job scope. Each inspection has a different and inconsistent time schedule.

As most of our business requires an emergency response you must be available 24-hours a day unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We will provide as much notice as possible before a job, but in most situations we have less than six hours to begin travel to our destination. Our immediate response to our customers’ needs will gain us the trust of our customers and their respect. This aspect of our service will prove to be the most valuable part of our service and be the most demanding of our employees.
Other responsibilities will include supporting American Efficiency Services in all other job scopes in the shop and field when required.
